The RS4 Sport 3 features a pre-painted 1969 Ford Mustang RTR-X muscle car body with authentic detailing and decals. The body comes completely trimmed and mounted for the ultimate in ease, and a functional racing wing is fitted for supreme control at all speeds. You'll have concours quality appearance, and you can always customize your car with any of the clear or pre-painted polycarbonate body shells from the huge assortment of HPI bodies and other manufacturers as well! This kit is supplied with a set of awesome wheels fitted with HPI Spec-Grip tires, AND you get another complete set of wheels fitted with HPI drift tires, too! You can enjoy grip and drift driving with one kit!
EASY TO DRIVE WITH A REAL STEERING WHEEL CONTROLLER!
The HPI Racing RS4 Sport 3 is super-easy to drive and get familiar with – all you have to do is plug in the included battery and switch on the radio, then the car. It’s that easy! To drive the car, simply pick up the controller with your left hand, put your left index finger into the trigger area, and then put your right hand on the steering wheel – it’s as natural as driving a real car! Turn the wheel to go left and right, and gently pull on the trigger with your left index finger to go forwards. To stop the car, gently push away from you with your left index finger - hold it there to go into reverse. It takes seconds to get used to this easy operation, and pretty soon you'll be racing with your friends!
PRE-MOUNTED DRIFT AND GRIP TIRES INCLUDED!
The RS4 Sport 3 1969 Ford Mustang RTR-X is fitted with a set of HPI Spec-Grip treaded rubber tires for maximum grip on just about every paved surface. You'll get great acceleration, braking and cornering performance from these semi-slick, grippy rubber tires! The tires are molded in a durable, long-wearing rubber compound that will give you a long life for hours of fun and enjoyment. If going sideways is more your style, we also include a second set of wheels fitted with HPI T-Drift tires. These low-profile drift-specific tires are made for high-performance, realistic drift action at 1/10th scale! Just make a quick pit stop to change them over and you’ll be ready to show off your drift skills in no time.
ALUMINUM MOTOR MOUNT
The cast aluminum cam-style motor mount holds the motor in place for a secure pinion/spur connection. Two screws hold the cam firmly in position on the mount, and cooling fins on the lateral support aid heat dissipation to keep the motor running as efficiently as possible.
